PAN leader Jorge Romero appoints Enrique Vargas in Estado de México

Jorge Romero, the national leader of the National Action Party (PAN), has appointed Enrique Vargas del Villar as the state coordinator for 'Defense of the Homeland, Family, and Liberty' in the State of Mexico. The appointment, made during the 'Ahora te toca a ti' initiative in Huixquilucan, tasks Vargas with coordinating the party's efforts for the upcoming 2027 elections in the region.

During the event, which included various party officials and militants, Romero emphasized that the party's goals should extend beyond winning municipal seats to improving living conditions, security for women, and opportunities for youth and seniors. Vargas, a former senator and former mayor of Huixquilucan, noted that the party aims to demonstrate results through its governance rather than just securing electoral spaces.
