Panama to Host World of Coffee 2026 International Trade Event

Panama will host the World of Coffee 2026 from 23 to 25 October, marking the first time the global coffee industry gathering is held in Latin America and in a coffee‑producing country. The three‑day event will take place at the Panama Convention Center on the Pacific side of the Panama Canal. Organized by the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA), the Specialty Coffee Association of Panama (SCAP) and the Panama Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture (CCIAP), it is expected to draw about 13 000 participants and more than 320 exhibitors representing over 30 nations.

The program will feature commercial exhibitions, business meetings, conferences, cupping sessions, training spaces and showcases on innovation, sustainability and technology in coffee production and preparation. By bringing together producers, buyers, roasters, baristas, equipment manufacturers and other professionals, the summit aims to strengthen Panama’s reputation for quality specialty coffee, expand market links for the country’s famed Geisha variety, and promote broader regional collaboration within the coffee value chain.
