Panama to Host World of Coffee, the Largest Global Coffee Event

Panama is preparing to host the World of Coffee, billed as the world's largest coffee event, marking the first time the gathering will be held in Latin America. The Ministry of Culture, in partnership with the Chamber of Commerce, is organising the fair to showcase the country's internationally renowned coffee, especially the prized Geisha variety, and to promote tourism, investment, gastronomy and the creative economy. Officials highlighted the event as a platform to strengthen Panama's national brand and to connect local producers with global industry players. As part of the outreach, the Ministry's National Director of Creative Economy, Miguel Fábrega, met with digital content creators to enlist them as strategic allies for promoting the event across their audiences.
