Olympiacos cleared of Panathinaikos complaint regarding point deduction

Olympiacos B.C. has been cleared by the ESAKE Sports Judge regarding a complaint filed by Panathinaikos B.C. The complaint sought a two-point deduction for Olympiacos following the Piraeus-based club's decision to pursue a lawsuit in civil court against Dimitris Giannakopoulos regarding his unauthorized entry into the court area at OAKA during last season's finals. ESAKE ruled that the request for point deduction was not accepted, and Olympiacos faces no points penalty.

Separately, Olympiacos announced it has received a fourth complaint from Panathinaikos in recent days. This latest filing targets Olympiacos coach Georgios Bartzokas following a match against Iraklis. The complaint alleges that Bartzokas promotes violence, though specific details regarding the content of this allegation have not yet been fully disclosed. This follows previous complaints involving Bartzokas in EuroLeague and other domestic contexts.
