Pantelleria Airport: Legality protocol signed to prevent crime

Enac Servizi and the Prefecture of Trapani have signed a legality protocol to oversee infrastructure projects at Pantelleria Airport. The agreement aims to ensure transparency in public tenders, prevent organized crime infiltration, and guarantee the regularity of construction sites.

The protocol will support the 2025-2029 multi-year public works program funded by Enac. It establishes a structured system for prevention, monitoring, and verification to ensure the traceability of the entire supply chain. Key focus areas include the legality of labor practices, monitoring manpower flows, and ensuring compliance with collective bargaining agreements.

To manage these efforts, a steering committee and a dedicated working group will be established at the Prefecture. The signing involved institutional leaders, local law enforcement, and the Anti-Mafia Investigative Directorate (DIA) of Trapani.
