Pantera to headline The Great Nola Trendkill festival in New Orleans

The Great Nola Trendkill festival has been announced for November 20-21, 2026, at the Lakefront Arena in New Orleans. Presented by Housecore Horror, Housecore Records, and Live Nation, the two-day event features Pantera performing their first New Orleans show in 30 years. The festival also marks the 30th anniversary of the band’s album, ‘The Great Southern Trendkill’.

Additionally, the band Down will host the official record release show for ‘Volume V’. The musical lineup includes Black Label Society, Corrosion of Conformity, Power Trip, Crowbar, Eyehategod, Pig Destroyer, Rāde, and Herakleion.

Beyond the arena, the festival will incorporate Housecore Horror programming, including horror screenings, vendors, and special appearances at various venues throughout the city. Philip H. Anselmo described the event as a “dream come true,” noting the inclusion of local New Orleans bands and horror industry personalities.
