PAOK eyes Portuguese striker Luis Esteves and basketball targets Silnds, Birts
Greek club PAOK is linked to several high‑profile transfer targets across sports. In football, the club is among the frontrunners to acquire 28‑year‑old Portuguese forward Luis Esteves, who is under contract with Zil Vithente until the summer of 2028. Esteves recorded 33 league appearances in the 2025/26 season, scoring four goals and providing eight assists, and is valued at around €6 million. PAOK’s interest competes with other suitors, including Al Sartaj from the United Arab Emirates.
In basketball, PAOK’s roster planning also includes the names of Seivon Silnds and Kem Birts. Silnds is expected to finish his contract with Italy’s Armani Milano after the playoffs, while Canadian centre Birts, a former Olympiacos player and EuroLeague champion, is also on the Greek team’s shortlist. The club is actively pursuing these players to strengthen its squads for upcoming competitions.
