Paola Frassinetti inspects new PNRR‑funded nursery in Vasanello, Italy

Paola Frassinetti, Under‑Secretary of State at the Ministry of Education and Merit, visited the town of Vasanello (Italy) to inspect the newly opened municipal nursery. The facility, located on Via XXV Aprile, was built entirely with funds from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) at a cost of €479,371.43 and can accommodate up to 20 children aged zero to three years. Designed for innovation and environmental sustainability, the building includes summer and winter climate‑control systems and utilizes energy‑efficient construction techniques.

During the visit Frassinetti met Mayor Igino Vestri, local assessors, the council president and other officials. She praised the rapid, zero‑cost completion and the high safety and eco‑standards, while the mayor thanked both Frassinetti and Sports Minister Andrea Abodi, who had visited the town in May, calling the attention a recognition of the municipality’s work.

Both officials highlighted the project as a concrete example of how PNRR resources are being directed toward early‑childhood infrastructure and sustainable public buildings in the region.
