Paraíba launches energy intelligence platforms and aquaculture programs

The Government of Paraíba has launched several strategic initiatives aimed at regional development in the energy and aquaculture sectors. Through the Secretariat of State for Infrastructure and Water Resources (Seirh), the state introduced three energy-focused projects: a study on the potential for low-carbon hydrogen production, the Paraíba Energy Information System (SIE-PB), and the Paraíba State Energy Balance (BEPB). These initiatives, presented in partnership with the Federation of Industries of the State of Paraíba (Fiepb), aim to provide data and intelligence to support public policy and investment in the energy sector.

Simultaneously, the state's Aquaculture Expansion and Development Program is distributing fingerlings to restock reservoirs across 11 municipalities. The distribution schedule includes deliveries in Ingá, Lagoa de Dentro, Mari, and Tacima. The fingerling production is supported by multiple units, including the Itaporanga Fish Farming Station and a partnership with the Federal Institute of Paraíba (IFPB).
