Paraíba launches Voz que Liberta project for incarcerated women

The Voz que Liberta project was officially launched at the Maria Júlia Maranhão Women's Penitentiary in João Pessoa, Paraíba. Promoted by the Court of Justice of Paraíba (TJPB) through its Justice and Women's Ombudsman, the initiative aims to provide qualified listening, healthcare, document issuance, and professional training for women deprived of liberty.

The integrated action involves an inter-institutional support network offering services such as criminal process reviews, preventive health exams, and mobile dental care. The project also highlights social reintegration efforts, including the Castelo de Bonecas project, which integrates methodologies from Emprega Lab PB and the National Pena Justa Plan.
