Paradon Prisnananthakul denies Senate election interference allegations

Paradon Prisnananthakul, Minister attached to the Prime Minister's Office, has denied allegations regarding involvement in the 2024 Senate elections. The controversy arose after the activist group iLaw released data claiming that Senate candidates from Ang Thong province made phone calls to Paradon and his brother, Korrawee Prisnananthakul, a Bhumjaithai Party MP, during the national selection process.

Paradon questioned the authenticity of the leaked call logs, noting that such information is private and difficult to access without hacking or official authorization. He suggested the data could be fabricated using AI or manual entry to create false political narratives. He emphasized that the burden of proof lies with those making the accusations and stated he is ready to cooperate with any official investigation if verifiable evidence is presented.

iLaw's director, Yingcheep Atchanon, previously claimed that calls were made from Impact Arena, Muang Thong Thani, during a period when candidates were supposed to have their mobile phones confiscated, suggesting irregularities in the election process.
