Paraguay activates child protection protocol for WRC Rally

The Paraguayan Ministry of Children and Adolescence (MINNA) has activated a specialized protection protocol for children and adolescents during the upcoming WRC Rally Paraguay in Itapúa. The event is scheduled to take place from August 27 to 30.

As part of the operation, 123 trained personnel, including the ‘red vests’ monitoring teams, have been deployed across nearly all 22 rally stages. The initiative includes rights socialization, the establishment of Abrazo Program spaces, and inter-institutional coordination with the National Police, Public Ministry, Public Defender's Office, and local municipalities to prevent, detect, and address situations of vulnerability.

Authorities have encouraged the public to report any rights violations via the 147 Help Line, which is free, confidential, and operational 24 hours a day.
