Paraguayan Capital Holds Green Workshop to Promote Guarani and Environment

A free workshop called “Peteĩ aravo’i verde” was held at a school in Asunción, Paraguay, bringing together children and teenagers during the winter holidays. Guided by Christian Olmedo and Patricia Galeano, participants used art, theatre and collective storytelling to raise awareness of environmental protection and to strengthen the use of the Guaraní language.

The young attendees created short theatrical pieces with messages about caring for nature and pledged to share what they learned with families and the wider community, fostering responsible and sustainable practices while reinforcing cultural identity.
