Paraguayan food exporters target European markets at SIAL Paris

A delegation of 12 Paraguayan companies is participating in the SIAL Paris 2026 international food industry fair to expand the country's presence in European markets. Coordinated by the Paraguayan Chia Exporters Chamber (Capachía) and supported by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, the initiative aims to leverage Paraguay's position as a leading global producer of chia.

The strategy focuses on diversifying the national export profile beyond raw chia to include processed goods such as oils, flours, sesame, peanuts, and other grains. Participating companies include Hypergrain SA, Schweigert Agrícola, TGL Foods SA, Villa Franca SA, Agrícola Knelsen, Hilagro, Raatz Oleaginosas, Alpacasa, Agropecuaria Produza SA, La Misericordia, Moracué Alimentos, and Ecotrading Yva Py.
