Paraguayan Football Association leaders discuss league restructuring

Presidents of Paraguay's First Division clubs met at the residence of Robert Harrison, president of the Paraguayan Football Association (APF), to discuss the modernization and development of national football.

Key topics of discussion included potential changes to the tournament system and the management of national competition broadcasting rights. Club leaders, including Recoleta president Luis Vidal, indicated that the APF is working with international consultants to advise on improving the championship structure and making the league more attractive to the public.

The meeting aimed to align the APF's institutional planning with club interests, particularly as the country prepares for a new cycle of television rights renegotiations.
