Paramount launches Paramount Games Studio to unite Skydance gaming assets

Paramount announced the creation of Paramount Games Studio, a unified gaming division that merges Skydance Interactive and Skydance New Media with Paramount's own video‑game operations. The new studio will be led by Tony Driscoll, who will serve as president while retaining his role as executive vice‑president of corporate strategy and development. Senior executives include Dan Prigg (EVP, games), Shawn Kittelsen (SVP, creative and production), Andrea Silvers (SVP, marketing), Kara Bilkiss (SVP, business development) and Ray Davis (SVP, engineering). Paramount Games Studio plans to debut its first AAA title at Summer Game Fest in Los Angeles and will continue work on projects such as “Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra” and an untitled Star Wars game with Lucasfilm. The launch comes as Paramount finalises its $110 billion merger with Warner Bros. Discovery, which still requires regulatory approval.
