Paraná International Marathon announces R$ 581,000 in prizes

The second edition of the Paraná International Marathon (MIP) is scheduled to take place from March 26 to 28, 2027, featuring the Guaratuba Bridge as a key location. The event has announced a total prize pool of R$ 581,000.

In addition to standard prizes, the competition offers significant bonuses for record-breaking performances. Athletes who establish new Brazilian records in the 42 km marathon will receive a bonus of R$ 100,000 for both male and female categories. For the 21 km distance, the record bonus is set at R$ 25,000 per category.

For the 42 km race, the top five finishers in each category will receive R$ 50,000, R$ 22,000, R$ 10,000, R$ 5,000, and R$ 3,000, respectively. The 21 km race prizes for the top five finishers are R$ 10,000, R$ 3,000, R$ 2,000, R$ 1,000, and R$ 500.
