Paraná revamps public bike system with new branding and station upgrades

Paraná is undertaking a comprehensive renewal of its public bicycle system, Bicivía. The overhaul includes a new visual identity for the bikes and stations, aiming to make the service more visible, accessible and attractive to residents. The system, which has served over 26,000 active users since its launch four years ago, operates 130 bicycles across 18 strategically placed stations. Currently, fewer than half of the bicycles are available as many are undergoing maintenance and refurbishment. The first phase will reactivate stations in Costanera Baja, followed by those in the micro‑center and the remaining locations.

Kevin Bolzán, the city's Secretary of Road Safety, Mobility and Urban Planning, said the renovation reflects the municipality’s commitment to sustainable mobility and modernizing the service.
