Paraná vehicle licensing schedule begins August 14

Vehicle owners in Paraná must adhere to the 2026 annual licensing schedule, which begins on August 14 for vehicles with license plates ending in 1. The deadline sequence continues through November 27 for plates ending in 0.

The licensing fee is set at R$ 94.61. To obtain the Certificate of Registration and Licensing of the Vehicle (CRLV), owners must also settle all outstanding debts, including IPVA taxes and traffic fines. Failure to comply with licensing requirements is classified as a very serious infraction under the Brazilian Traffic Code, carrying a fine of R$ 293.47, seven points on the driver's license, and the potential removal of the vehicle.

Payments can be made via PIX, with the digital certificate becoming available within 15 minutes. The document can be accessed through the Detran-PR website, the PIÁ platform, the Detran Inteligente app, or at service units.
