Paranaguá: Adolescent severely burned in flammable liquid explosion

An adolescent suffered second-degree burns over approximately 70% of his body following the explosion of a container holding flammable liquid in Paranaguá, Paraná. The incident occurred on Monday afternoon, around 4:20 PM, on Avenida Bento Rocha.

Video footage from the scene captured the moment of the explosion, showing the victim running while engulfed in flames. Emergency responders from the Samu (Mobile Emergency Care Service) provided initial medical assistance at the site before stabilizing and transporting the teenager to the Hospital Regional do Litoral.

The exact cause of the ignition remains unknown, as the property owner was unable to provide information regarding what triggered the explosion. As of the latest reports, there have been no updated medical bulletins regarding the victim's current health status.
