Parcoursup: 91.5% of French students receive admission offers
The French government has announced that 91.5% of high school students who applied through the Parcoursup platform received at least one admission offer. According to a statement from the Ministries of Higher Education and National Education, 603,910 students were successful in securing offers.
Data from a CSA survey indicates that 72% of students are satisfied with the training programs they were accepted into. Following the conclusion of the supplementary admission phase on September 10, approximately 32,000 candidates sought assistance from the Higher Education Access Commissions (CAES) after failing to receive offers during the main phase in mid-July.
Currently, 60 students continue to receive personalized support from the CAES as they have not yet secured a placement. The government noted that these individuals are almost exclusively vocational baccalaureate holders with fragile academic profiles. The Parcoursup system remains a subject of debate, with some students and groups calling for its modification or abolition.
