Pardubice Airport sees record season with 150,000 passengers

Pardubice Airport is experiencing a record-breaking season, having processed 150,000 passengers so far this year. This represents a significant increase compared to the approximately 97,000 passengers handled during the same period last year.

The growth is attributed to an expanded range of destinations and increased demand. New summer charter routes include Egyptian resorts Hurghada and Marsa Alam, which are scheduled to operate until mid-November. Additionally, Ryanair provides year-round regular connections to Málaga and Alicante in Spain.

Beyond tourism, the airport serves professional sports organizations for charter flights. The facility, which operates as both a military and public international airport, has also implemented infrastructure improvements, including a new second floor and a third boarding gate to increase capacity. The civil portion is operated by East Bohemian Airport a. s. (EBA).
