Pardubice hosts record‑rich sports park anniversary and early‑start horse racing meet

The tenth edition of the Sportovní park Pardubice opens on 6 August with more than 60 sport clubs offering activities such as zumba, sport gymnastics, golf and a new senior active zone. The programme includes street floorball, street basketball, a 12‑km cycling route, and a variety of events across the city’s parks until 9 August.

On Saturday, 5 August, the Pardubice racecourse moved its main qualifying race, the "Cena firmy Chládek a Tintěra Pardubice," to an earlier 10:55 start to avoid hot weather. Organisers emphasized horse and participant safety, and Czech Television adjusted its live broadcast schedule accordingly. Tickets remain valid and the venue opens at 8 a.m. with additional technical measures to ensure a safe racing day.
