Various municipal events and public services announced across Brazil

Several Brazilian municipalities are launching local initiatives across sports, culture, and public services. In Parintins, registration for the 41st School Games (JEPs) is underway through October 22, with the event scheduled for November 5–15.

In Saquarema, free registration is open until October 22 for the 6th Dance Showcase, a non-competitive event taking place from November 5–7. Meanwhile, Salvador is offering free international dance training opportunities through the 16th Bahia Dance Journey, with registration closing October 20.

Public health and safety measures are also being addressed. The Parintins City Hall has issued health guidelines to protect residents from smoke caused by wildfires. In Barra do Piraí, the Civil Defense and Light Geração are coordinating to prevent flooding during the upcoming rainy season. Additionally, infrastructure improvements, such as LED lighting installations in Pedras Grandes and Urussanga, and maintenance in Parauapebas, are being implemented to enhance community safety.
