Paris Jackson details broken engagements and past addiction

Paris Jackson has provided new details regarding her past relationships and her decision to end her engagement to music producer Justin Long. During an appearance on the podcast ‘Call Her Daddy’, Jackson explained that she called off the engagement after realizing through therapy that her emotional needs were not being met, stating, “just because someone is a good person doesn’t mean they’re my person.”

Jackson revealed that this was not her first broken engagement. She disclosed a secret engagement that occurred during a period of active substance abuse. She noted that her former partner used her own money, without her knowledge, to purchase the engagement ring.

Reflecting on her sobriety, which has lasted five years, Jackson expressed that she is now approaching the concept of future marriage “a day at a time.” She emphasized the importance of prioritizing her own happiness and honoring her personal non-negotiables.
