Paris Saint-Germain targets Ibrahim Maza following Kvaratskhelia injury

Paris Saint-Germain is actively seeking offensive reinforcements following a season-ending injury to Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. The Georgian winger suffered an anterior cruciate ligament tear during a Champions League match against Barcelona, which is expected to sideline him for a significant period.

To address this loss, PSG has identified Bayer Leverkusen’s 20-year-old Algerian international, Ibrahim Maza, as a primary target. Maza, who has recorded three goals and three assists in eight appearances this season, is viewed as a versatile option capable of playing as an attacking midfielder or on the left wing, fitting Luis Enrique’s tactical system. Reports suggest a potential transfer fee could reach at least €50 million, though Leverkusen may demand more.

Other potential candidates being monitored by the French club include Nico Williams, Paris Brunner of AS Monaco, and Borussia Dortmund’s Mathis Albert. The club’s recent financial discipline, which saw significant revenue from player sales, provides the necessary capital to pursue these high-potential young talents during the January transfer window.
