Federico Aramburú murder trial begins in Paris
The trial for the murder of former Argentine rugby player Federico Martín Aramburú has commenced in Paris. The proceedings focus on the events of March 19, 2022, when Aramburú was shot and killed following an altercation at the Le Mabillon bar in the Saint-Germain-des-Prés district.
Loïk Le Priol, a 32-year-old former military member, is the primary defendant accused of murder. During his testimony, Le Priol admitted to firing the shots but asserted he acted in self-defense.
