Park Jinyoung discusses upcoming drama ‘100 Days of Deception’

Actor Park Jinyoung, a member of the group GOT7, has shared details regarding his role in the upcoming tvN period drama ‘100 Days of Deception’. Directed by Yoo In Shik, known for ‘Extraordinary Attorney Woo’, the series is a spy romance set during the Japanese occupation of Korea.

The plot follows Lee Ga Kyeong (played by Kim You Jung), a skilled pickpocket in Gyeongseong who becomes an undercover spy for the independence movement. She infiltrates the Japanese Government-General of Korea, where she meets Kim Tae Woong (Park Jinyoung), an interpreter also known as Sato Hideo. Sato Hideo is the adopted son of the Inspector-General of Korea, Sato Shinichi.

Park Jinyoung described the series as a narrative where character emotions are intricately connected like a spiderweb within their historical era. He noted that reading the script highlighted the importance of understanding the past. The drama is scheduled to premiere on October 10.
