Parookaville 2026 sees 75,000 daily fans as Axwell unveils new festival law
Parookaville, a large electronic‑music festival on the former airport site near Weeze, Germany, attracted roughly 75,000 visitors each day during its 2026 edition.
On the opening day, Swedish House Mafia member Axwell addressed the crowd from the Aquarius mainstage and announced a new “festival law” originally drafted by the fictional founder Bill Parooka, extending the event’s themed governance.
The site includes a 360‑degree stage and a staged “city” with a church, town hall, prison, post office, swimming pool and theatre, plus the newly designed Aquarius mainstage.
Headliners over the weekend included Axwell, followed by Armin van Buuren, vocalist Sasha, and Belgian techno star Charlotte de Witte, each performing on the mainstage.
