Parookaville 2026‑27: new lineup, youth tickets
Entities: Armin van Buuren · Germany · Airport Weeze · Parookaville Festival
Overview
The Parookaville EDM festival was held at the former Weeze Airport from 17‑19 July 2026, converting the site into a temporary city for about 225,000 visitors – the pandemic‑era capacity. Daily attendance peaked around 75,000 and the programme covered more than ten stages, including the Mainstage, Desert Valley, the new Aquarius stage and a 360‑degree audience‑surround stage unveiled by automotive partner Cupra. Headliners such as Armin van Buuren, Axwell, The Chainsmokers, Charlotte de Witte and Vicky Le Watz performed alongside acts like Felix Jaehn, Scooter and Steve Aoki. Highlights featured laser‑ and drone light shows, a wedding chapel and a €2,000 “Deluxe Bell” glamping package with a two‑person tent, wellness facilities and guided exercises. A fan‑funded mobile Bollerwagen stage built by Cologne DJ‑producer 2Faces was also showcased.
Organisers reported smooth operations, low incident numbers and satisfactory weather despite a brief rain shower at the close of the 2026 festival. Attendance figures were confirmed at roughly 225,000, with the event fully sold out and praised for its immersive production, one‑way traffic flow and effective crowd management.
On 19 July 2026 organisers announced the 2027 edition. CEO Bernd Dicks introduced a “Young‑Ticket” for 18‑25‑year‑olds priced at €289 for the weekend – €80 below the standard €369 rate – and a €50 early‑bird discount for all ticket categories purchased within ten days. The pre‑sale opened on 21 July, with Base‑Camp and Green‑Camp passes included in the discount scheme. Dicks cited rising fuel costs and tighter leisure budgets as the reason for the reduced price. The 2027 line‑up will feature German group Bunt., Dutch DJ Don Diablo, Belgian producer Lost Frequencies and returning star Steve Aoki.
