Parookaville Festival 2026 attracts 225,000 attendees at Weeze Airport, Germany
From July 17‑19, 2026 the Parookaville Festival turned Airport Weeze in North‑Rhine Westphalia into a temporary "City of Dreams". The event attracted roughly 225,000 visitors, making it one of Europe’s largest electronic‑music gatherings.
The lineup featured international headliners such as Armin van Buuren, Charlotte de Witte, The Chainsmokers, Steve Aoki and many others across EDM, techno, hardstyle and pop. Highlights included a new 360‑degree stage with a central video cube, the "The Aquarius" mainstage designed as an underwater world, and extensive light, fire, drone and fireworks shows. The site’s city‑like layout offered themed zones – desert valleys, basketball courts, food boulevards and other interactive attractions – while a one‑way traffic system helped keep crowd density comfortable despite the massive attendance.
The festival was fully sold out and received praise for its immersive production, extensive artist roster and efficient crowd management.
