Partido del Trabajo hosts international seminar in Mexico

The 30th International Seminar ‘The Parties and a New Society,’ organized by Mexico’s Partido del Trabajo (PT), brought together 260 delegates from 39 countries to discuss neoliberalism, war, and sovereignty. The event featured representatives from 101 political parties and organizations across America, Asia, Africa, and Europe.

Former Colombian President Gustavo Petro opened the seminar with a speech criticizing U.S. President Donald Trump, whom he compared to Hitler. Discussions also addressed the resistance of the Bolivarian movement in Venezuela and the political situation in Spain, where upcoming general elections and the fragmentation of the left were highlighted as key concerns.
