Partiumi Magyar Napok announces August 20 festive program
The Partiumi Magyar Napok (PMN) has announced its festive program for August 20, centered around the celebration of Saint Stephen's Day. The schedule includes a solemn Catholic mass celebrated by Bishop Jenő Schönberger, followed by a wreath-laying ceremony at the statue of King Saint Stephen.
Cultural activities include several puppet theater performances by the Kacagó Puppet Theater, such as ‘Piroska és a motoros farkas’ and ‘Ki lopta el Holle anyó párnáját?’. Additionally, the program features a historical comic book presentation by Lóránd Bob titled ‘Vér hívta vért’, which depicts the 1348 Battle of Capua in honor of the 700th anniversary of the birth of Louis I of Anjou. Other events include a lecture by the Ady Endre Society and musical performances.
