Partiumi Magyar Napok celebrates 25th anniversary with festival weekend

The 25th anniversary of the Partiumi Magyar Napok (PMN) festival in Szatmárnémeti, Romania, saw a high volume of cultural, family, and musical programming throughout its jubilee weekend.

Friday's musical lineup featured diverse genres, including acoustic performances by Midnight Stories, jazz and folk fusion by Tárkány Művek, heavy metal from AKELA, and contemporary folk by Magyar Banda.

Saturday's activities focused on community engagement, including family programs, markets, and gastronomic events. Evening musical highlights included Funkorporation, Balkan VIP, and a performance by the multi-platinum band Magna Cum Laude, who performed well-known hits such as ‘Vidéki sanzon’ and ‘Pálinka Dal’.
