Partizan secures 3-0 EuroLeague start with comeback win over Bayern

Partizan basketball has achieved a perfect 3-0 start in the EuroLeague following a dramatic 86-84 comeback victory against Bayern Munich. Despite trailing by as many as 13 points in the third quarter, Partizan secured the win behind strong performances from Tonje Jakiri, who scored 17 points, and Carlik Jones, who contributed 16 points and five assists.

In Munich, the game was marked by high intensity and controversy. Former Partizan player Duane Washington led Bayern with 20 points, but a missed three-pointer in the final seconds prevented a Bayern comeback. The match also saw tension between Washington and Partizan fans following his celebrations.

Looking ahead to the ABA League, Partizan is scheduled to play its first home game against Mega in Belgrade. However, due to a penalty stemming from last season’s ABA League finals against Dubai, the match will be played behind closed doors without spectators.

In German basketball news, Alba Berlin suffered its second consecutive loss, falling 83-98 to Bamberg Baskets. The defeat highlighted defensive and rebounding struggles for the Berlin-based team.
