Pasar Ciroyom revitalization begins with 1,045 trading spaces

Perumda Pasar Juara Kota Bandung has initiated the revitalization of Pasar Ciroyom in the Andir district to improve safety and comfort for traders and consumers. The project focuses on a 9,000 square meter ground floor area following an audit that found electrical installations were only 27 percent compliant with safety standards.

To manage the redevelopment, the agency is preparing 1,045 trading spaces. Under the new scheme, existing traders are offered a base price of Rp12 million per square meter, while new traders will be charged Rp23 million per square meter for a 20-year utilization period. These rates are based on studies conducted by a Public Appraiser Office (KJPP).

Pradana Aditya Wicaksana, President Director of Perumda Pasar Juara, confirmed that the agency holds legal authority over the assets through official handover documents from the Bandung City Government and holds a formal Building Use Right (HGB) certificate from the National Land Agency. Traders have until December 2026 to settle their obligations, with options for cash payments, installments, or bank financing with a maximum five-year term.
