Two separate incidents of passenger aggression and vandalism were reported in public transportation systems in Mexico and Ecuador.

The altercation, which was captured on video by passengers, reportedly began after the driver refused to allow the passenger to disembark at an unauthorized location. The confrontation escalated into a physical fight inside the bus and continued on the street, during which the passenger pulled the driver by his tie and knocked him onto the sidewalk.
In Quito, Ecuador, an intoxicated individual was detained after damaging a ticket validator at the Alameda Trolebús station. The Empresa Pública Metropolitana de Transporte de Pasajeros reported that the individual struck the machine with his fist after being denied entry by security.
