Passenger arrested after indecent behavior on Baltimore to Miami flight

A passenger on an American Airlines flight from Baltimore to Miami was taken into custody after allegedly stripping naked and engaging in indecent behavior during the flight.

The incident occurred on flight AA-1779, an Airbus A319, on Friday, September 11. According to reports, the flight crew used the Aircraft Communications Addressing and Reporting System (ACARS) to notify the cockpit and ground operations about the disturbance.

Despite the disruption, the pilots did not divert the aircraft and proceeded to the scheduled destination. Upon arrival in Miami, law enforcement officers were waiting at the gate to take the woman, identified as being seated in row 9, into custody. The identity and age of the passenger have not yet been released.
