Patient with renal colic waits three hours in Giulianova ER before being dismissed

In Giulianova, a man suffering severe renal colic and fever waited approximately three hours in the emergency department despite repeatedly requesting medical attention. After enduring worsening pain and trembling, he asked a nurse what to do and was told, "Go ahead!" and left the hospital in distress.

The incident has sparked criticism of the hospital’s response, with calls for manager Maurizio Di Giosia to investigate the case and address alleged mistreatment in the emergency unit.
