Patlabor the Case Files to launch on PC and PS5 in September

Developer Chime and publisher Good Smile Company have announced that the 3D mecha action game ‘Patlabor the Case Files’ will launch on September 17, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.

Based on the ‘Mobile Police Patlabor’ series, the game allows players to pilot over 20 different machines, including the Ingram, Griffon, and Zero Type. Gameplay includes Main Missions from the perspective of Special Vehicle Section 2, ‘Another Side’ missions from rival perspectives, and a Simulator Mode featuring shooting ranges and Labor-versus-Labor battles.

The game will be available worldwide with support for English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, and Korean.
