Patria and General Cherry partner for drone production

Patria and the Ukrainian drone manufacturer Center of Unmanned Technologies LLC, also known as General Cherry, have signed a Letter of Intent to collaborate on the development and production of unmanned systems.

Under this agreement, Patria plans to initiate drone production in Finland to support European defence capabilities. The partnership aims to combine General Cherry’s battlefield expertise in specialized equipment—including strike FPV drones, fiber-optic drones, and aerial-target interceptor drones—with Patria’s industrial capacity and unmanned technology expertise.

The collaboration is intended to develop unmanned solutions tailored to the needs of Western European defence, integrating sensors, communications, and artificial intelligence into a broader defence ecosystem.
