Patricia Bullrich skips key Casa Rosada meeting amid Argentine cabinet tensions

Security Minister Patricia Bullrich did not attend a meeting convened by Chief of Cabinet Manuel Adorni at the Casa Rosada. The gathering, attended by senators of La Libertad Avanza, was intended to explain Bullrich’s recent wealth declaration to the anti‑corruption office and address public questions about the growth of her assets since joining the government in December 2023.

Bullrich’s office said she had prior legislative commitments, including a parliamentary session ahead of a Senate meeting on Thursday. Opposition lawmakers are using her absence to push for an interpellation of the Chief of Cabinet and are considering a motion of censure, heightening political tension in the Argentine Congress.
