Patryk Jaki says PiS‑Confederation coalition could topple current government

Patryk Jaki, a Law and Justice (PiS) MEP, said that a coalition between PiS and the right‑wing Confederation (Wolność i Niepodległość) would "simply topple the current government". He argued the right is stronger than in 2023 and noted the main difficulty is the Confederation’s leaders, who have not ruled out a partnership with Donald Tusk but remain hesitant.

Jaki warned that if PiS does not maintain a hard line on the European Union he will quit politics, declaring "either a hard course or I'm out". He dismissed a second "Polexit", pointed to Poland becoming a net contributor to the EU budget and highlighted legal wins such as the ETS ruling and a Constitutional Court decision as bargaining tools. He also noted the right’s strong prospects in upcoming European elections in Italy, France, Spain and Poland.
