Pattaya immigration officers arrest two Nigerians after cocaine seizure

Chonburi immigration officers arrested two Nigerian men, identified as 25-year-old Chikemezu Wisdom Enna and 29-year-old Chidi Alex Oganu, during a raid at a Pattaya condominium on October 9, 2026.

During a search of the residence, officials discovered approximately six grams of cocaine hidden inside a kitchen range hood. The drugs were found in five zip-lock bags wrapped in black tape. According to reports, Enna was staying in Thailand illegally and tested positive for drugs during a preliminary urine test, while Oganu was in the country on a tourist visa and tested negative.

The two men claimed they purchased the cocaine from an acquaintance near Walking Street for personal use, a statement that authorities are currently investigating. The operation followed a directive from National Police Chief Pol Gen Samran Nuanma to increase enforcement against drug trafficking, scam gangs, and corruption.
