Pattaya police investigate assault and robbery of five Indian tourists

Five Indian tourists have reported being assaulted and robbed at a hotel in North Pattaya. The group met several Thai individuals near Pattaya Beach on the night of September 13 before agreeing to go to a hotel.

The tourists allege that once in the hotel room, additional people entered, leading to a disturbance where they were physically attacked and threatened. Following the confrontation, the tourists discovered that approximately 24,000 baht in cash was missing. Some victims claimed they faced further threats and demands for money when attempting to confront the individuals involved.

Pattaya City Police have launched a formal investigation. Authorities are currently reviewing CCTV footage from the hotel and surrounding areas to identify the suspects and are taking detailed statements from the victims.
