Pattaya police search for foreign suspect after cannabis shop assault

Police in Bang Lamung are searching for a foreign man following a sexual assault at a cannabis shop near Walking Street in South Pattaya. The incident occurred around 5:50 AM on a Friday morning.

A 34-year-old female employee reported that the suspect made obscene gestures and repeatedly stuck his tongue out through the shop’s glass door before violently forcing his way inside. After the man entered the store, the employee managed to lure him outside briefly so she could retreat behind a locked door. However, the suspect allegedly continued his harassment, making indecent contact with the employee and exposing himself.

A 64-year-old woman from a nearby apartment building attempted to assist the employee, but the suspect reportedly approached her and kissed her on the cheek. Local residents eventually intervened by confronting the man with sticks, causing him to flee the scene. Authorities are currently reviewing CCTV footage and bystander videos to identify and apprehend the suspect.
