Patterson Point supportive housing community opens in Goleta

The Housing Authority of the County of Santa Barbara (HASBARCO) will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday, September 4, to mark the completion of Patterson Point, a new permanent supportive housing community. Located at 80 North Patterson Avenue in Goleta, the development is designed to provide stable housing and essential services for individuals experiencing homelessness.

The facility features studio apartments alongside amenities such as a community room, kitchen, and laundry facilities. These resources, combined with access to supportive services, are intended to help residents maintain long-term housing stability.

Scheduled speakers for the event include Congressman Salud Carbajal, Assemblymember Gregg Hart, Santa Barbara County Supervisor Laura Capps, and representatives from the office of Senate President Pro Tempore Monique Limón. Residents of Patterson Point are also expected to speak about the impact of permanent supportive housing on their lives.
