Paul Panzer discusses family losses and medical emergencies

German comedian Paul Panzer, born Dieter Tappert, has shared personal details regarding recent family hardships during an appearance on the podcast ‘Betreff: Leben – die Sprechstunde mit Hans Sigl’.

Panzer revealed that his wife, whom he described as ‘the love of my life’, passed away earlier this year. Additionally, he discussed a medical emergency involving his 86-year-old father, who suffered a minor stroke affecting his arm and eye two years ago.

According to Panzer, his father refused to go to the hospital despite warnings from emergency medical services and his wife. The situation was eventually managed at home using blood thinners through a physician who is a family friend.
