Pauline Hanson overtakes Albanese as preferred PM, One Nation leads Australian poll

A Resolve Political Monitor poll conducted 8‑13 June shows One Nation achieving a 29 % primary‑vote share, ahead of Labor’s 28 % and the Coalition’s record‑low 20 %. Party leader Pauline Hanson topped the preferred‑prime‑minister question with 33 % support, surpassing Prime Minister Anthony Albanese’s 29 %. The poll also notes expanding support for One Nation among voters born overseas and non‑Anglo backgrounds.

At the same time, Hanson’s “Fire the Liar” fundraising campaign has raised around $3‑4 million in days, promising television ads and large banners flown from helicopters during the State of Origin series. The campaign claims about 50,000 small donations and has released a heat‑map of donor locations. Labour has criticised the rapid fundraising, while the Liberal‑National Coalition faces pressure over possible preference deals with One Nation. Senior Nationals figure Barnaby Joyce said One Nation plans to field candidates in every electorate but denied any formal merger.
