Paulínia and Francisco Beltrão approve 2027 municipal budget guidelines

The city council of Paulínia (Brazil) approved the guidelines for the 2027 municipal budget, outlining priorities and investments for health, education, public works, social assistance, mobility, security and the environment. The approval also included measures such as a policy for people with Alzheimer’s, a Burnout‑prevention week, expanded parking tolerance for the elderly and disabled, animal‑welfare education, security for app‑based delivery workers and initiatives supporting female entrepreneurship.

In the neighboring municipality of Francisco Beltrão, council members presented 22 amendments to the draft law that will set the 2027 budget guidelines. The amendments request funding for infrastructure projects such as a mortuary chapel, a flood‑control basin, road improvements, school facility upgrades, security staffing for early‑childhood centers, and the installation of artesian wells in several neighborhoods.
